My name is Shawn Williamson.
This site is neither my first blog, nor my first experience writing. This blog has meaning for me. We each have a limited number of days, and it seems like I have squandered most of the ones I’ve lived so far. That needs to change. This blog will document my recognition of how to LIVE and share those experiences with you.
I have some small experience as a writer. For several years, I was a part-time journalist for two newspapers in Utah. My stories are archived at FreelanceJournalist.US. Admittedly, it’s small town news. But the experience was valuable and should assist me in documenting this journey.
I spend my days as a probation officer in Utah. For nine years I worked with Juveniles. In December 2006, I began working with adults in Salt Lake County. There’s only a small difference between the two populations: the younger set probably should have known better, the older set definitely should have known better. But really, everyone has screwed up sometime in their life. I work with the ones who got caught.
